Incase anyone was wondering...YES! We are still alive!

Yes! The Oyler's are still alive! There are just not enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do and to get everything done I need to get done!! I'm sure most of us feel this way!! So unfortunately my blog gets thrown by the way side. Anyway, Tannon and I have been busy little bees the past couple months, Tannon with work and school and me with work and just being a wife (its hard work people, especially with the hubby I have! haha! Love ya babe!) Tannon has been workin his lil butt off on the farm trying to get harvest finished up and also trying to stay caught up with school! He really does work SO hard, I'm really proud of him! And I am so happy that his work will be slowing down a bit for the winter, it will be nice to actually spend time with him on the weekends again!

So since I haven't really posted ANYTHING this summer....I thought I would post our "first hiking trip ever" pics! Tannon and I decided we needed a new hobby, so we decided to take up hiking, so we went out and purchased all the needed supplies, not realizing how expensive it was really going to be and everything we would need... and set out one Saturday morning with a couple of our friends. We did some SERIOUS hiking for our first hiking trip, I don't think I have worked so hard in my life!! It was tons of fun though and can't wait to go again next year!

I forgot to mention that we camped at the place that we hiked to and since you have to carry everything you need on your back we were really roughing it! From going to camping in a trailer, with a heater and a bed and yummy camping food to camping in a teeny tiny tent, laying on rocks, freezing, and eating freeze dried space food was quite the experience. Sure makes you feel thankful for what you have!!

Long time no blog!

Wow! It has been quite awhile since I have made a post!! I have no excuse, well laziness, if that counts! Not too much has been goin on at the Oyler homestead lately other than Tannon quit his job at Icon and is now going to school full-time, thanks to Mom and Dad Garn! (Really, thanks! We don't know what we would do without all your help!!) He is working over to the family farm when he has time and will work there full-time during summer, but in between he will be trying to get school finished up! He is working really hard at it and I am so proud of him! And as for me, I am still just working at the dentist office and waiting for winter to get over!! I don't know about anyone else, but I am so so sick of this cold weather, I am ready to feel that warm sunshine on my face!! Well I guess that's all for now!

Halloween and Metallica

This year for Halloween, Tannon and I went to a party with a bunch of our friends and played cards and just hung out and had a good time! It was really fun! Tannon dressed up as a Trashy Redneck Girl and I was a Pirate!

Last Monday Tannon and I and our friends Alex and Jamie went down to Salt Lake and saw Metallica. It was my first concert, but it wasn't very good. It was at Energy Solutions and since its such a big building it was really echoey and didn't sound very good. But we still had alot of fun and it was a cool experience!

Cute Keanon

A couple weekends ago my mom babysat cute lil keanon bug because Dave and Mist were going on an Anniversary getaway, so I obviously had to come "help" really I just can't resist coming to see this cute lil guy anytime I get the chance!! He is growing up so fast, I can't believe he is almost 3 years old!! I just love him to death! Anyway, here are a couple pics I snapped of the cute lil guy!

Here he is watching "Spirit" He just loves Horseys!

He got nervous during one of the parts and had to come cuddle.

Here he is golfing! He is quite the lil golfer, he could probably kick my butt!

Ridin the horsey! Isn't he the cutest?!

Bad Drivers!!

So has anyone else noticed how it seems like people these days are just getting worse at driving? I swear! It feels like I almost get in an accident every day because people are so stupid and don't pay attention or just don't care for that matter. The other day this car pulled out right in front of me and I had to slam on my brakes so I honked my horn to let the other driver know..DUH I'M HERE!...and the passenger in the car turned around and flipped me off for honking at them and I thought...Geez you are the one that pulled out in front of me and I am the one that gets flipped off!! Oh man! Anyway, I could go on about this forever, but I won't! I just had to vent for a minute. Thanks!

I'm terrible at this!!

So, I have been terrible at updating my blog! I am pretty sure I have a small case of procrastination plus we have been kinda busy lately! But...Lucky for you Tannon is working late and I can't sleep so I decided it would be a good time to do some updating! Tannon just started school again and also changed his major again, it is now agricultural science technology or something like that. It has both aspects of what he is interested in (computers and farming) in one major so it is right up his alley! Plus, with this major he is completley done with his math (THANK GOODNESS) so that works out great!! So he is a very busy boy, he is still working at Icon full time and also at the farm on the weekends and as for me I am just still working at the dentist's office and spending time with my busy hubby when he's not working or at school. That has been pretty much what has been going on with us lately! Anyway, I have had these fun summer pictures of us boating that I have been wanting to post, but haven't got around to it so you are getting them now. So enjoy!

Since I have seen this fun little game on just about everyone elses blog I thought I would join in on the fun and post it too!!!

1.Leave a comment on my blog about a memory we might have had together. Big or small, funny or sad, whatever just any memory.

2. Then re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory. I think its a fun idea, and hey if anything worth a good laugh!! :)
